My point is, we deserve to be with a partner who complements us and is willing to entertain our needs, even if those needs extend into the bedroom and belong into the realm of a kink. If we are not free to express those needs, then we build up resentment towards our partner and will continue to feel the shame of what we were afraid to share at a deeper level and that would definitely spill over into the rest of the relationship potentially causing unnecessary tensions.
